Uncontacted Peoples
Thinking about groups of people who have had little contact from the modern world is mystifying. The idea is large: like trying to grasp the idea of our unending universe. A universe guaranteed to contain many other forms of life.
To hear about these tribes’ struggle with colonialism-and the disease, displacement and force that comes with the process-gives us an incredible opportunity to face the realities of the founding of our United States of America and countless other nations built upon genocide and capitalism.
